We are in week 1 of a new series titled, “Relationships”. This week, Pastor Jeni begins by taking us through a large lens of Scripture, Old Testament to New, to discover how we were created with a purpose of building, maintaining, and thriving in relationships.
One of the single best things you can do for your health is to nurture your relationships.”
“Its time to prioritize our relationships like our life depends on it, because it does.”
-Dr. Holt-Lunstad
Notes from Sunday’s Sermon:
God in His very nature is relational and we were created in His image.
We were created dependent upon relationships from the beginning.
God’s ENTIRE redemptive plan is oriented to relationship & community.
The church - more than any other entity in life - should be concerned about and caring for relational health.
Relationships helps us succeed in life.
Relationships come through in times of need.
Relationships protect us through the ups and downs of life.
Relationships - especially those rooted in shared faith - make us stronger & more like Jesus.
