Happy Mother’s Day! This week in the life of BCC we continued on with our series titled, “Reflecting God”. Pastor Jeni preached a sermon on “the grace gifts” that God grants each person that can then be used to benefit the church. She emphasizes that ALL have been given gifts and that ALL gifts are valuable. Join us as we read from 1 Corinthians 12:1-3 and discover how God gifts His children.

Notes from Sunday’s Sermon:

• All Christians are spiritual, not just those who demonstrate ecstatic gifts.

• All who proclaim Jesus is Lord are filled with the Holy Spirit and as a result have gifts of the Spirit.

• The focus is on the Giver of the gifts and not on the gifts themselves.

• The grace gifts of the Spirit are meant to bless & build up the church.

• You have a grace gift bestowed upon you by God’s Spirit that you might contribute in every age & stage to the church.

• All come from the same source, are of the same value, & have the same goal - benefit God’s church.

• A FULLY FUNCTIONING BODY is the goal for every local church!
